The general building works comprised the construction of a new single storey extension to provide space for a parent’s room, incorporating a kitchenette.

 

 

 

The general construction of the extension comprises masonry walls, solid concrete floor, flat roof with ‘Green’ Sedum covering and roof lights, powder coated aluminium doors to match the existing nursery building.

 

Works also included alterations to external below ground drainage and Mechanical and Electrical services comprising electrical wiring, power points, new light fittings, fire alarm and installation of LST radiators linked into the existing system.

 

External works consisted of a one coat, self coloured cementitious render to block wall, automation of rear double metal gates and installation of new safety surfacing.
