Although we usually undertake projects within the M25 area we are capable of handling contracts outside of this area. Pond Cottage was one of those projects, which was located in Camberley. We successfully tendered for the demolition of an existing single storey structure and the provision of a two storey extension to Grade II listed building at a cost of £97,000.
The works comprised of the following:
Demolished existing lean-to extension, setting aside and re-using as many materials as possible. Capped off all redundant foul waste and surface water drainage. Grubbed up foundations and broke out floor. Took up patio and set aside; demolished patio wall and planters.
Excavated for main foundation trenches and all other excavations in connection with drainage and relevant service supplies. Cast new trench fill foundations and allowed for stepping foundations down from level of existing.
Provision of new ground floor and first floor construction and ensured that finished floors line through exactly.
Roof covering was taken from roofing materials previously set aside. Make up shortfalls to cover twin unequal pitched roofs.
Decorations carried out internally and externally as per decoration schedule.
Refurbishment of existing en-suite bathroom included the re-tiling and the connecting of all water feeds drainage and overflows. All sanitary ware was supplied and installed by us.
