We were successful in tendering for and carrying out fit out works to a new apartment complex in Barnet for a private developer. The building was registered with Zurich under the Builders Guarantee Scheme from the outset of which we registered in order to comply with client requirements. The project was completed within 10 weeks and at a cost of £78,000.
The main scope of works was the fit out of the entire existing structure which included the installation of electrical and plumbing services and sanitary ware. The supply and installation of all joinery (including doors, skirting, boxing, shelving, panels and ducting) and flooring throughout which included both laminate and carpet. Internal decorations were carried out throughout the whole of the apartment.
The architect also requested additional works:
- Insulation to internal walls
- Installation of vent ‘Axia Multispeed Mulitvent’ in lieu of stand alone extract vents
- Installation of ducting and external grill for cooker hob extractor
- Insulation to existing soil and RW pipework
- Excavation and exposure of soil pipe branch connection in en-suite
- Alteration of stud wall to form shelf
- Installation of 2no ‘Saniflow’ units
- Alteration of cold water valved connections in ceiling void to allow for drain off point
- Installation of 2 no pressure reducers to water supply
