Cuttle Construction was formed on 5 January 2000.

Managing Directors

Michael Cuttle is the owner of the company. Michael oversees and is ultimately responsible for estimating, initial client liaison and staffing resources aswell as being ultimately responsible for health and safety, ensuring that the company has a very proactive approach to the health and safety of its employees, sub-contractors, suppliers, clients and members of the public.

Operations Director

Seamus is the Operations Director and the Quality Manager. Seamus has overall responsiblity with the day to day running of contracts on site. He will liaise with other Contracts Managers and offer support, advice and assistance when needed. 

Procurement Director

Louisa is the Procurement Director for the company, coordinating and overseeing bid submissions steadily gaining significant successes throughout the years. Louisa has 15 plus years experience in procurement, bid writing and administrative processes, winning framework bids for Local Authorities, Schools and Central Government, as well as gaining successes for one off contracts ranging in value from £50,000 up to £1M for a variety of clients from the private and public sector. 

Site Safety Services

Site Safety Services are employed as our external health and safety consultants, They annually carry out a full review and audit of the company and our health and safety practices. They also provide us with training services as well as a telephone advisory service and hands-on assistance.

Operatives

Our employees and sub-contractors all hold the relevant CSCS cards and either holds or is training towards an NVQ vocation. All the company’s training needs are assessed in an annual training audit, with training being carried out throughout the year as and when further training is identified through review meetings.

Apprentices/Trainees

The company has a long standing commitment to employing apprentices, with many of our previous and existing employees having gained NVQ accreditation while with the company. We also have an ongoing commitment in assisting students wishing to gain a degree in construction management by gving them gainful employment and ensuring that day release for studies is incorporated into their employment terms. We put great emphasis on training and helping staff to achieve their goals and to do the job to the best of their ability.
